Islamabad now has a very special dining club. Meeting monthly, each lunch or dinner is prepared and served by one of the capitals top chefs.

The meals are unique in that they do not feature on any existing menu and are bespoke for the dining club. They are designed to promote healthy eating and as such, each menu includes vegetables and organic products from the Islamabad Farmers Market, - -  the organisation that inspired the clubs’ development.

The locations, events, chefs and menus are coordinated by Shahnaz Barker, herself a food expert of some renown. Through her company, Coriander Connections, she provides tuition, demonstrations, lectures and instruction for all levels of ability, especially promoting Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine. She also provides consultancy services to restaurants, ranging from mystery guest surveys to service standard reviews and training.

Each event is limited to a maximum of 40 people. Tickets can only be booked on a first come, first served basis following an events’ announcement at the weekly Islamabad Farmers Market. Be sure to visit every Saturday morning, between 11am and 3pm, at Hot Spot in F7.
