Shahnaz Barker founded Coriander Connections began in Hong Kong in 2009. Presenting, demonstrating and teaching the wonders of Asian Cuisine, it rapidly grew a following of enthusiastic students and cooks who wanted to explore the mysteries and the very best of cuisine from all over Asia.
Classes covered specialities from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and further to the South East, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
As well as group classes, private tuition and lectures, Coriander Connections also began home catering and providing dinner parties and receptions for a discerning clientele who sought something different and exotic.
